ABOUT RANKSHIELDMD

We're building the
verification standard.

We're building the verification standard for healthcare AI. In medicine the stakes are highest, so proof matters most.

RankShieldMD is the healthcare pillar of the RankShield Network. We make the highest-stakes actions in medicine provable — clinical-AI decisions, device identity, and record access — by sealing PHI-free, externally-anchored, post-quantum evidence at the moment each action happens. The idea is one you can check: turn trust you are asked to extend into trust you can independently verify.

01 // THE ORIGIN

It started with
a personal attack.

The RankShield founder was targeted by an AI-driven impersonation attack — the same class of identity-cloning threat now spreading as generative models get better at mimicking people. That experience made a broader truth obvious: the hard problem in an AI world is not producing convincing output, it is proving which output is genuine. RankShield was built to make the highest-stakes actions provable — and RankShieldMD carries that to healthcare.

02 // THE BELIEF

Proof beats
trust.

In the AI and quantum age, trust is a request and proof is a check anyone can run. We believe the ownable, literally-true claim is "verifiable" — not best, first, or unhackable. Honesty is the product, because trust you can independently verify is the only kind worth selling. Every design choice follows: PHI-free by construction, externally anchored, post-quantum-signed, and shipped with a verify recipe anyone can run.

03 // THE NETWORK

One fabric.
Many pillars.

RankShieldMD is the healthcare pillar of one verifiable fabric that also spans money, law, and other critical systems. The same core — sealed, externally-anchored, post-quantum evidence — carries every pillar; healthcare is a skin on that shared backend, tuned for the stakes and regulations of medicine. One idea, applied to the highest-stakes actions wherever they occur: make them verifiable, so trust becomes something you can check.

04 // THE HONESTY STANCE

We claim only
what we can prove.

A verification company that exaggerates its own maturity has undermined the exact thing it sells. So we never claim best, first, or unhackable; never claim to have invented verifiable audit; never say software alone makes you compliant. We label live versus roadmap plainly. The only claim we make is the one we can prove — the evidence is verifiable, and you can check it yourself.

05 // GET STARTED

Don't trust us.
Verify us.

The best way to evaluate a verification company is to verify it. Register a baseline, run an action through the platform, and check the evidence with your own tools. If it holds up, that is the whole pitch. Verifiable, PHI-free, post-quantum, honest by design.

SCROLL TO DESCEND
WHY WE EXIST

Why does RankShieldMD exist?

RankShieldMD exists because, as artificial intelligence gets better at acting rather than merely answering, the scarce thing stops being intelligence and becomes proof — and nowhere are the stakes of that shift higher than in healthcare. The company began with a personal experience, not a market study. The RankShield founder was targeted by an AI-driven impersonation attack, the same class of identity-cloning threat now spreading as generative models learn to mimic a specific person's voice, face, and writing. Living through that made a broader pattern impossible to unsee. When an AI can impersonate a human, make a decision, or send a command convincingly, the difficult question is no longer whether the output looks real. It is whether you can prove which output was genuine, produced by the system you approved, on data that was not altered. RankShield was built to answer that question for the highest-stakes actions, and RankShieldMD applies the idea where the stakes are highest of all. In medicine, AI helps decide care, devices live inside patients, and records are the most sensitive data there is. When a clinical decision is later questioned, someone has to prove what actually happened — which model ran, on which version, on what inputs. RankShieldMD applies one idea to all of it: make the highest-stakes actions verifiable, so trust is something you can check rather than something you have to extend on faith.

What does RankShieldMD believe?

RankShieldMD believes that in the AI and quantum age, proof beats trust — and that the only claim worth building a company on is the one it can prove. Trust, in the ordinary sense, is a request: a vendor asks a hospital to believe a model is sound, a log is honest, a decision was genuine. Proof is different. It is a check anyone can run, on their own, without taking the asker's word for anything. That distinction is the whole belief system. The ownable, literally-true claim we build around is verifiable — a property you can test — rather than "best," "first," "trusted," or "unhackable," which are assertions the reader has to swallow whole. From that single commitment, the rest of the design follows without much argument. Evidence is PHI-free by construction, because a verification tool should shrink the protected-data footprint, not grow it. It is externally anchored, so no one — including us — can quietly rewrite the record after the fact. It is signed with post-quantum cryptography, because a proof that becomes forgeable in fifteen years is not good enough for a record that documents a person's care. And every proof ships with a verify recipe, because evidence you cannot check independently is just another thing you are being asked to trust. Honesty, in this framing, is not a marketing posture. It is the product: trust you can independently verify is the only kind worth selling.

How does RankShieldMD fit the RankShield Network?

RankShieldMD is the healthcare pillar of the RankShield Network — one verifiable fabric that spans money, law, and other critical systems, with medicine as the domain where the stakes run highest. The insight that started the company was not specific to hospitals. As AI gets better at acting, the highest-stakes actions everywhere need to be provable: a payment authorized by an agent, a legal instrument executed on someone's behalf, a command sent to a critical system, a diagnosis shaped by a model. RankShield built a single verification core to make those actions checkable, and each pillar is a skin on that shared backend, tuned for the vocabulary, the regulations, and the failure modes of its domain. Healthcare is the pillar where the consequences of an unprovable action are the most severe, so it gets the most careful tuning — PHI-free guards, FDA and HIPAA mappings, clinical-AI provenance, device identity, and record-access attestation — but it runs on the same sealed, externally-anchored, post-quantum evidence as the rest of the network. That architecture is deliberate. Building one core and many skins means the cryptographic guarantees are consistent across domains, the evidence format is shared, and every improvement to the fabric benefits every pillar at once. The network effect is the point: the more actions are attested on one verifiable substrate, the stronger the standard becomes for all of them. One idea, applied wherever the stakes are highest — make the action verifiable, so trust becomes something you can check.

What will RankShieldMD never claim?

RankShieldMD will never claim to be the best, the first, or unhackable, and it will never say it is "trusted by" a number it cannot substantiate. The reasoning is not modesty for its own sake — it is the logical consequence of selling verification. A company whose entire value is that its claims can be checked cannot afford to make claims that cannot be. So we hold a short, strict list of things we do not say. We do not claim to have invented verifiable audit; the concept exists in published academic research, and we ship a particular commercial, externally-anchored, post-quantum, per-action implementation of it rather than the idea. We do not claim any product makes an organization HIPAA or FDA compliant, because no software does that alone — compliance is an organization's overall posture, and our tools produce evidence that supports specific requirements. We do not claim to be quantum-proof; we build to the NIST post-quantum standards and describe the posture as quantum-safe, because no quantum computer capable of breaking today's cryptography exists yet and no system is guaranteed unbreakable. We label live capabilities as live and planned ones as roadmap, rather than blurring the two. And the founder's impersonation experience is described as what sparked the company — never as a shipped feature, because voice-clone or impersonation protection is not a RankShieldMD product. The one claim we do make is the one we can prove: the evidence is verifiable.

HONEST BY DESIGN

What we are careful never to claim.

The only word we own is "verifiable"

Not best, not first, not unhackable, not trusted-by-a-number. "Verifiable" is a property you can test — recompute the hash chain, confirm the post-quantum-signed root — so it is the one claim we build the company around.

The origin is not a product

The founder's AI-impersonation experience is what sparked RankShield. It is not a shipped feature. Voice-clone and impersonation protection are not RankShieldMD products, and we never present the founding story as one.

Live and roadmap, labeled plainly

A verification company that exaggerates its own maturity undermines the thing it sells. Where a capability ships, we say so; where it is planned, we call it roadmap. No software alone makes you HIPAA or FDA compliant, and we never claim it does.

Answer engine

Ask RankShieldMD about who we are.

What is RankShieldMD?

RankShieldMD is the healthcare pillar of the RankShield Network. It builds tooling that makes the highest-stakes actions in medicine verifiable — clinical-AI decisions, medical-device identity, and access to patient records — by sealing cryptographic, PHI-free evidence to an externally-anchored, post-quantum-signed transparency log. The goal is simple to state and hard to fake: turn trust you are asked to extend into trust you can independently check.

Why does RankShieldMD exist?

Because as AI gets better at acting — impersonating a person, making a decision, sending a command — the scarce thing stops being intelligence and becomes proof. Nowhere are the stakes higher than in healthcare, where AI helps decide care, devices live inside patients, and records are the most sensitive data there is. RankShieldMD exists to make those actions provable, so that when a decision is later questioned, the answer is something you can verify rather than something you have to take on faith.

How did the company start?

It started with a personal attack. The RankShield founder was targeted by an AI-driven impersonation attempt — the same class of identity-cloning threat now spreading as generative models get better at mimicking people. That experience made a broader truth obvious: the hard problem in an AI world is not producing convincing output, it is proving which output is genuine. RankShield was built to make the highest-stakes actions provable, and RankShieldMD applies that idea to healthcare.

Does RankShieldMD sell voice-clone or impersonation protection?

No. Voice-clone or impersonation protection is not a RankShieldMD product. The founder’s impersonation experience is the origin that sparked the company, not a feature we ship. Being precise about that distinction is part of the honesty doctrine: we describe what we build and never dress the founding story up as a shipped capability.

What does RankShieldMD believe?

That in the AI and quantum age, proof beats trust. Trust is a request; proof is a check anyone can run. We believe the ownable, literally-true claim is "verifiable" — not "best," "first," or "unhackable" — and that honesty is the product, because trust you can independently verify is the only kind worth selling. Every design decision follows from that: PHI-free by construction, externally anchored, post-quantum-signed, and shipped with a verify recipe.

Why "verifiable" instead of "secure" or "trusted"?

Because "secure" and "trusted" are claims the buyer has to take on faith, and in medicine faith is not good enough. "Verifiable" is a property you can test: hand the evidence to an auditor, a regulator, or opposing counsel, and they can recompute the hash chain and confirm the signed root with standard tools, without access to our systems and without trusting us. It is the one word we can stand behind literally, so it is the one we build around.

How does RankShieldMD fit the RankShield Network?

RankShieldMD is the healthcare pillar of one verifiable fabric that also spans money, law, and other critical systems. It runs on the same verification core as the financial, legal, and critical-systems pillars — sealed, externally-anchored, post-quantum evidence — and healthcare is a skin on that shared backend, tuned for the stakes and regulations of medicine. Building one core and many skins keeps the cryptographic guarantees consistent, the evidence format shared, and every improvement to the fabric a benefit to all pillars at once. One idea, applied wherever the stakes are highest: make the action verifiable, so trust becomes something you can check.

What will RankShieldMD never claim?

It will never claim to be the best, the first, or unhackable, and it will never say it is "trusted by" a number it cannot substantiate. It will never claim to have invented verifiable audit — the concept exists in published research. It will not claim any product makes an organization HIPAA or FDA compliant, because no software does that alone. The only claim it makes is the one it can prove: the evidence is verifiable.

How do you tell live products from roadmap?

We label them plainly. Where a capability is live, we say so; where it is planned, we call it roadmap rather than implying it already ships. Overclaiming is the failure mode we most want to avoid, because a verification company that exaggerates its own maturity has undermined the exact thing it sells. If you are ever unsure whether something is shipped, ask, and we will tell you the honest state.

Does RankShieldMD store protected health information?

No. The platform is PHI-free by construction. It seals digests of models, inputs, outputs, identities, and patient references; raw identifiers are rejected at the guard and never enter the ledger. That is both a privacy design and a security one — the evidence is useless to anyone who steals it, because there is no protected data inside.

Is the platform quantum-safe?

Yes, and we state the posture honestly. Attestations are signed with composite post-quantum signatures — ML-DSA-65 paired with Ed25519 — so evidence stays defensible as cryptography evolves. It is quantum-safe, not quantum-proof: no quantum computer capable of breaking today’s cryptography exists yet, and no one can guarantee any system is unbreakable. We build to the NIST post-quantum standards and never claim more.

How do I work with RankShieldMD?

The best way to evaluate a verification company is to verify it. Register a baseline, run an action through the platform, and check the evidence with your own tools. If it holds up, that is the whole pitch; if it does not, you will know before you commit. Reach the team at [email protected] to run a verification against your own environment.
